Q: When is the registration deadline?

A: Online registration ends at midnight on January 13, 2018.  You may register the morning of the race at Packet Pickup.  Registration fees increase by $5 on December January 5 & January 13.

Q: How do I confirm my entry to the 5K4MLK?

A: All online registrations will be confirmed via email once your registration form and fee are processed.  If you are mailing your form and payment, we will email you a confirmation once received and processed.

Q: What time does the race start?

A: The 5K4MLK Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m. CST on Monday, January 16, 2018.

Q: Where do I get my race number and timing chip?

Q. Can my running group participate? 

A: You can receive your race bib/number and timing chip at Packet Pickup on January 13th or 14th and the morning of the race.  Race day packet pickup begins at 6:30 a.m.
 

A: Each participant must have his/her own registration.  In the event of an emergency, race officials must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else's registration.  There are NO exceptions to this policy.

A: There are no refunds.  This No Refund Policy applies even if the event is cancelled for any reason including inclement weather.

A: Those registered participants who register before January 5 will receive a commemorative t-shirt.  Shirts are NOT gender specific.  For those who are a late registration, shirts will be handed out on a first come basis the morning of the 5K.


A:  Awards include Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+), Ages 6-8, 9-11,12-14, 15-19,  20-24,  25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-60, 60-64, 65+  Awards are given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place by age group & gender.
 

A: There is not a minimum or maximum age to participate.  Every person(even kids in strollers) on the course must be registered due to liability reasons.  Children under 12 are able to participate for free.
